AI in marketing 😬

First edition

Hey, it’s Ollie. And my buddy AJ, Director of Marketing.

About AI. At the moment, it feels like too much sizzle and not enough steak.

Sure, some of the tools are amazing. We're sure they become infinitely better when you go deep and learn how to use them.

But that's just it. Most times we've tried to use a new tool, you spend as much if not more time learning it, editing what it comes up with and sculpting what it's produced into what you really wanted - where doing it your old way was quicker and more accurate.

Yep, that's short term thinking. Maybe even lazy.

Surely though, other marketers feel the adoption strain on using these tools.

GPTs seem useful but can offer such basic output. And there's so many of these tools which can be useful for one isolated task, but they then dont blend together to take task one through to three and four being done in one go.

Drop a reply if you're loving or hating AI tools.
